Daniel Libeskind, a famous architect who won a contest for reconstructing the world Trade Centre in New York, presents us his vision of time passing through his Time Maze Wall Clock from Alessi. Time Maze defines the notion of time, for “time passing is neither linear nor circular. Time is a labyrinth of hidden connections and pleasant interactions.” This Walk Clock features a frame consisting of one single broken line. The design of this object clearly reminds us of the architectural language of this author, characterised by discontinuous lines, broken surfaces, cuts and openings. The clock mechanism is situated in the middle of the structure. Time Maze comes in a special red tone, which has become a classical signature of Daniel Libeskind. A masterclass in urban and contemporary design, made of seemingly abstract broken lines, it's just as much a work of art as it is a practical addition to your home.
